Meet The Founder...

My Journey to Me is more than just an app—it's a creative sanctuary designed to support children and families in navigating the emotional landscape of growing up. Founded by  Art Therapist Rhiana Jade, the platform brings together art therapy and meditation to offer a gentle, playful, and accessible pathway to emotional well-being.

Rhiana is the founder of My Journey to Me Art Therapy & Meditation for Kids and a dedicated practitioner with a deep commitment to using creativity and meaning-making as tools for healing. Her mission is to make art therapy accessible, affordable, and appealing.

With a professional background in Transpersonal Art Therapy, Creative Industries, and Performing Arts, Rhiana draws from a rich tapestry of knowledge and lived experience. Her practice is shaped by an understanding of how the brain and body process trauma, and how creative expression can play a pivotal role in healing.

Over the last ten years Rhiana has worked closely with children and families facing a wide range of challenges including:

    •    Anxiety & stress

    •    Grief & trauma

    •    Bullying & abuse

    •    Autism & ADHD & physical disability

    •    Body Image & identity

Her work has supported children both individually and in group settings—within schools, community programs, and now through the My Journey to Me app, available on the App Store and Google Play.

Rhiana brings together her passion for art therapy, social and emotional learning, and meditation to create immersive therapeutic experiences. She’s especially interested in the connection between creativity and neurobiology, exploring how this powerful combination fosters neuroplasticity in regions of the brain that control emotions, the stress response, cognitions and empathic responses leading to lasting positive change, resilience and psychological well-being.

My Journey to Me has been Rhiana's passion project over a number of years and she is excited about helping kids (and their carers!) feel seen, supported, and empowered to take gentle steps toward emotional well-being—one meaningful creative moment at a time.
